Patrick Meere, MD
Dr. Patrick Meere is Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the NYU School
of Medicine. He is Chief of Service, Adult Reconstructive Surgery, and Chairman
of the Quality Assurance Committee at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases. He obtained
graduate degrees in Physics, Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgery from McGill University
in Montreal and completed his Fellowship in Arthritis and Adult Reconstructive
Surgery at the Hospital for Joint Diseases in 1993. His large-volume practice deals
exclusively with hip and knee replacement surgery: routine and challenging complex
primary cases as well as revision (repeat) hip and knee replacements. In addition
to his academic teaching responsibilities, Dr. Meere serves as expert consultant
on multiple implant design teams and lectures nationally and internationally on
minimally invasive surgery techniques, computer-assisted technology, alternate bearings
(ceramic and metals), and other innovative surgical techniques.
