Dr. William Jaffe is Clinical Professor and Vice-chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic
Surgery at NYUHJD. At the completion of his residency training at NYUHJD, he was
awarded the Frauenthal Travelling Fellowship which he took at MIT, Harvard, and
The Centre For Hip Surgery in England where he studied under Sir John Charnley who
pioneered Hip Replacement Surgery. Dr. Jaffe limits his practice to hip and knee
replacement surgery. He has written over 60 articles for peer reviewed journals
and is a sought-after speaker both nationally and internationally in his area of
specialty.
